Loongbuy spreadsheet FAQ: Asia-Pacific lines and pattern-aware QC

For buyers whose parcels cross the Pacific: what the sheet keeps, why specialist checks matter for hanfu and J-fashion, and where the transparent percentage lands in your total.

Basics

Who benefits most from these rows?

Buyers in Asia-Pacific regions, and anyone shipping garments where pattern placement decides whether the piece is wearable. The sheet is curated toward those two realities.

What does 'transparent 5% fee' mean for me?

It means one quoted proportion applied to the item rather than several small charges scattered across the flow. Simple to predict, easy to model before you order.

Do I pay to read the spreadsheet?

No. Reading is free. Costs start inside Loongbuy, at the point where a row becomes an order and later a shipping instruction.

Buying & payment

Why is pattern-focused QC worth asking for?

On hanfu and J-fashion, matched panels, centred prints and symmetrical trims decide whether a garment looks right. Those faults are invisible in a stock photo and obvious in person.

Which marketplaces do orders come from?

Taobao, Weidian, 1688 and JD. Weidian and Taobao cover most crafted apparel; 1688 suits accessories and repeatable basics.

How should I write size notes?

Give measurements rather than labels — chest, length, shoulder — and add height and weight for garments. Labels disagree between sellers; centimetres do not.

QC & shipping

How do Asia-Pacific lines differ from US ones?

Shorter transit and denser sailing schedules usually mean faster delivery and lower minimum charges. The right comparison is price per kilo against realistic days, not headline speed.

Should I remove garment packaging before shipping?

If brand packaging is not meaningful to you, yes. Compressed soft goods cut volume substantially, and volume is what the line bills.

What should I photograph if there is a dispute?

The QC images versus what arrived, side by side, plus any measurement you requested. Evidence beats adjectives in every dispute I have seen.

Money & safety

Is the percentage fee charged before or after freight?

It applies to item value, so it lands before freight is added. Freight, customs and extras then stack on top, which is why modelling all layers matters.

Which categories are realistically the riskiest?

Electronics with batteries, anything pressurised, and replicas. Apparel is comparatively safe, which is another reason the sheet leans toward clothing and accessories.

Can I ship several small rows cheaply?

Yes, once they are combined into one parcel — the first-kilo charge is shared. Shipping three separately is nearly always the most expensive version of the same order.
